Children can’t defend themselves.
Or Can They?

No sharp quills like a nail.
You can’t hide in a shell.
You don’t make a smell.
But YOU HAVE A VOICE,
so be brave and tell.

Child Sexual Abuse Epidemic

While the rate of childhood sexual abuse has decreased over the past 20 years, it is still at an epidemic rate and is a major health crisis for children everywhere.

Is My Child Safe at Daycare?

Can I trust all of my family members?
Could my child really be sexually molested while at a church, camp or outing with my trusted friends?

These may be questions you’ve thought of, but didn’t want to ask, or you may have even had an uneasy feeling, or seen signs but decided “this couldn’t happen to my child.” My goal is to inform and educate so that you can prepare yourself and your children for prevention in case you are faced with this in the future.

1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before age 18

90% of abuse victims know their abuser

1 in 7 girls and 1 in 25 boys will be victims

60% of child sexual abuse victims never tell anyone

Education

Education about the predatory mind: The who, what, where, when, and why...Then, teach this to our children. Empower children to know what to watch for so they aren’t vulnerable and they won’t have to be a victim. We must reverse the cycle of pain and hurt, and change it to a cycle of prevention and healing. Our children must refuse to be abused!

Prevention

Those who have children in their care at ANY time must be aware of ALL potential dangers. We must be protective and observant. We must be willing to ask the questions and LISTEN and LOOK for signs that someone is/has tried to bring hurt to our precious children. We should prevent it from happening in the first place.

Let's Change the Situation. Together.
